First Fridays
First Fridays

We meet for an evening of fun on the first Friday of every month. Please come and plan on meeting new friends and just hanging out with others who support you and appreciate you just the way you are.

Everyone is welcome whether you are LGBTQA or someone who supports the LGBTQA community.

First Fridays is a SAFE SPACE especially for gay, lesbian, bisexual, asexual, pansexual, transgender youth and their allies.  All youth attending school - including college - are welcome at First Fridays.  We meet on the first Friday of each month at St. Paul's.  Meet and make new friends who support you and appreciate you just the way you are.

Although we are sponsored by St Paul's church, this evening of fun is not in any way a religious service.  Religion is not discussed and no one has to discuss their orientation unless they want to share it with others.  St Paul's only supplies a meeting space and some funding.

We usually have snacks and pizza during our meetings.  So don't worry about dinner, we will have pizza and fun!

The It Gets Better Project's mission is to communicate to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth around the world that it gets better, and to create and inspire the changes needed to make it better for them.

I’m From Driftwood aims to help LGBTQ people learn more about their community, straight people learn more about their neighbors and everyone learn more about themselves through the power of storytelling and story sharing.
